Dont think you can....
I think even if you midi mapped this it would retain its original function..

so I figured out a work around with the split cue.
one of the features I miss from the 57 is the master/cue switch. Most of the time, I mix with my headphones set to master. The 62 has the knob but I like to switch it quick on the fly sometimes during a mix. I've also always put my headphones on so that the cord was on the right side of my head (the correct way according to the way headphones are marked)
With the 62, I flip my headphones around so the split cue side is on my right ear. (now the cord is running down the left side of my head, so basically wear them backwards) and use the SPLIT CUE button to switch from Cue to Master. I have to twist the knob slightly to get the level I want but it is much better than swinging the master/cue knob all the way around.
I still miss my cue crossfader from the 57 but I'm almost up to speed with cueing on the 62. I still get tripped up on the smart cue buttons sometimes (pressing the other channel when I don't need to) and I also get some double tap response from the cue buttons from time to time.

I miss that crossfader cue more than anything i've ever missed in my life lol....
i'm just not used to the knob, the fader was way easier to switch from left to right than a knob.
and I could not do that to my headphones because I'm running IEMs. Also, I don't like reversing my L/R phase.

Any word on being able to re-map the split cue button? I want to make it Master/Cue button like on the 57.
My master cue botton does not work well on the 57 and I was easily able to re-map that. But now I have the 62 and I can't find that option.

This is not an option and I'm not sure if it ever will be.
This was never an option with the 57. The 57 doesn't even communicate via MIDI but rather a proprietary method. The only things on the mixer that can be mapped in SSL are the knobs and buttons within the B button area.
As for the 62... you can map anything in SSL to any knob, button, or slider in a different MIDI layer... even the split cue button (although it will still retain its original function.)

I midi mapped the maser/cue function to my dicers, not to another button on the 57. You do that in the hardware setup. But when I plug in the 62, that is no longer an option. Is there like a mapping tutorial somewhere for the 62?
