I have a midi controller set up to be able to play long with Ableton/Serato Bridge. I have it working properly, however I need the 'arm' button to be able to select which midi track I am playing off of. The only way I can do it now is Cmd+Tab back to Ableton and select this. I saw in a tutorial video that the "arm" button is possible to have show up for each track in Serato.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi there axelroze,

There is no way to show the Arm track button in The Bridge unfortunately. The only way to switch instruments on the fly without pressing Cmd+Tab would be to map the record track arm button to a midi controller and control them from here.

I will lodge this request to the development team, but I won't be able to say when or if this feature would be implemented sorry.

Hope this clears things up!

This youtube video shows the arm button through the bridge. Can you please advise if this was perhaps an old feature that was removed, or its possibly a workaround ?

Thanks!

Funny you should bring up that video, as in that clip we were using a private beta version that never actually made it to release. The Bridge was still in the late stages of development when that video was shot.

Unfortunately there is no real workaround, other than CMD+TAB back to ableton and changing it then. Or mapping the track selection to buttons on your midi controller.

We have no idea if this feature will be implemented back into a future release I'm afraid, but I will let the developers know as it could be a very valuable feature!

Thanks a lot mate, I hope this is helpful.
Cheers
