Feature Request: 4 Deck support for Numark V7's Pretty Please :)

Hi All,
I have just got a pair of V7's and loving them. I'm just using itch at the moment and was dissapointed when I found out that 4 decks was not possible. My overall plan is to use 3 out of the 4 decks to plug into my SL3 and run Scratch Live, as I prefer that software to itch. (Apparently you can rip the SL timecode CD's and load them into itch, connect itch to SL3)
When I first got my SL3 3 decks was not possible so I posted to try and get that feature added. I'm hoping to do the same here. At least show my support for the idea.
So please count my vote for this feature!
Thanks! Peace!

The V7s are basically a dead product at this stage, sadly. Don't expect any real changes to them other than the standard Itch improvements.
This has always been a popular request but IIRC Serato have stated in the past that it's simply not possible.
Using the V7s with Scratch Live in that way is possible, but not very practical, you need a lot of power to handle it.
If you want to use Scratch Live you'd have been much better off buying some CDJs TBH.

I find it funny that the people that buy a 2 deck controller want 4 decks, and the people that buy a 4 deck controller want 2 decks.

Man it's a real shame, such a beautiful controller. I actually prefer them to technics!
I'm really looking for a good controller for Scratch Live rather than itch. Sadly it looks like i'll have to return these V7's and exchange for something else.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not looking for an all-in one type unit ala NS6. I already have a nice mixer (IMO) Vestax PMC580 Pro. It does everything i need, excepting MIDI Control.
I hear the Denon 3700s' are good, how do they feel compared to V7's?
Would I need to get 3 of them to use 3 deck SL3?
Thanks in advance

Actually can someone from Serato comment on the 4 deck situation before I return these please?
Many thanks,

Yeah, can someone from serato mention of any kind of solution for 4 deck or midi/video mixing for the V7 users? I'd like to purchase serato video but have no means of cross fading short of the keyboard. Do I have to buy a different controller for that or is something coming...

Just add a 2nd laptop and get the most reliable, redundant and fun digital-dj system out there.

Actually thinking about doing this. Most of the time there are 2 of us DJing on Internet radio from home, rather than gigging. So going to test it this weeekend with my friends laptop, if it works out then I'll probably have another laptop so 2 v7's & 2 Laptops & 2 DJ's, Could be interesting!

That is a great idea, expensive but great.
1 laptop for left and 1 for right, using the a/b selector on each v7 = full 4 decks and loads of redundancy.
I lug a second laptop (less powerful, my old SSL box actually) about with me as a backup anyway, but it had never occurred to me to hook up my v7s like that.
You could also, if you have the hardware, do a great "pepsi challenge" with itch running on both a mac AND a pc at the same time side by side.
Its a bit of a shame that itch doesn't output midi over ethernet/wifi....because then you could use sync on those 4 decks too.

a full second setup is hardly a serious alternative :-P
although i'm quite sure it's not gonna happen it'd nevertheless be one of the best additions.
for me personally it'd have had much more value than all the video stuff i don't care about ...
