Question re: programming Rane 57 Group B1 J1 & J2

trying to program my J1 & J2 up, down, left, right to censor, scroll loops, etc, but I get nothing but dead silence when I try to use it. The programming works fine on B2 but I get nothing on B1.

Am I missing something?

I am coming from the Rane 68 so this is new to me :)

Press down on the Joystick like a button to 'enable' it.
When its disabled it will act as a transform switch.

i figured it out last night. had to dig out the manual & felt stupid :)

one other question that i can't find in the manual...how do i activate/toggle effect #2?

You can map the on/off of the effect to any of the controls on the 57 the same way you mapped the censor etc.
When you choose to map, say, the Ultra Knob ON it will ask if you want to map the left or right effect slot.
