Using just 1 TT

hamzter 2:11 PM - 28 December, 2007
Anyone doing this?

I played a whole night with one TT -> no problem. But it limits myself to the transitions I can make - you can only control one TT at one time.

I've had to do that once. It wasn't to bad.

does transitioning to absolute and relative mode work smoothly?

I just had one deck of SSL in INT mode.

As a song is playing in INT mode on that deck mix in another song on the other deck. Once you finished your transition just instant double it to the INT deck and start over.

Yea, that is the easiest way to do things. I do that at home a lot, when I am just messing around. I don't take the dust cover off the other table. It works really really well.

Dito.

when you instant double the other deck, does it play right where you left off?
DJ Prinvale` 4:29 PM - 29 December, 2007

cool... Just made it home from a 9 hour drive back from Las Vegas. I am going to hopefully work with it tomorrow time permitting.

thanks...

Just se to it that your gain and tone controls are set to the same before changing to the "other" deck after "instant double", could sound funny otherwise...

ya this happins all the time, 1 table go's out. but its easy to use int.
