When trying to calibrate the digital or spdif connection from my CDJ 1000 mk3 to my rane 68 the calibration signal goes no higher than 8 percent and the green signal is so big that it covers the area, when trying to reduce it, it goes away.

Quick question, do your CDJs calibrate normally when using the analog RCA connections?
djreggieward 12:27 AM - 29 April, 2012
Yes they do

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been on vacation and unable to reply.

When playing a normal CD via the SPIF connection, does it sound bad, really loud or distorted?
djreggieward 1:28 PM - 9 May, 2012
I will try playing a normal CD

Please take a screen shot of your calibration scopes while using the SPDIF connection and attach it/upload it to this thread. I'm curious to know how things look when using the digital out with the control disc.
djreggieward 8:00 PM - 29 May, 2012
So as I was about to send you the screen shot I decided to install version 2.33 of Scratch Live, and quess what using the SPDIF connection I'm getting 100 percent signal. The bad thing is I've invested in the new Video plugin and version 2.33 does not support it. Let me know if you still want me to upload the screen shot using 2.41

You get a chance to look at the Screenshots, I uploaded yesterday?

Shaun W 5:28 PM - 30 May, 2012
Yes, thank you for the screen shots :)

It appears to be a bug within the 2.4.1 version, unfortunately.

I can reproduce the issue using two different laptops.

I'll test things using the new 2.4.2 public beta version and see if the same problem is present.
djreggieward 9:44 PM - 30 May, 2012
Ok, I hope it's not the same issue in 2.42. In my mind the investment I've made in the Rane 68 and most recently the new Video Plug it should work. Plus the digital or SPDIF connection is a much cleaner sound vereses the analog connection. Plus I have a Macbook Pro and theres is no way during install I can select change location so I can have both 2.41 and 2.33 installed at the same time.
djreggieward 9:54 PM - 30 May, 2012
I quess I could renme one of them, so I could have both installed. But hopefully you will report this to the software team.

Yes, you can either rename one of the Scratchlive.app files or simply move it to another location before installing the new version.

I'll let the dev team know whats going on :)
