I've been trying to think about ways in which it could be possible to use serato as a live loop based tool..

On a basic level, I did think that I could route my effect send into one of the inputs of my SL1 box, and then record through that, but ther problem there is that (For the SL1 at least, not sure about later revisions) you can either select line level input, or phono level input, but not one on one channel and one on the other...

The other downside of course is that you have to record, navigate to your recorded files, then set the loop up to the desired length.

How good would it be to be able to hit a button and have it record a bar at the current tempo and then immediately load it into one of the 6 sample spots?
