DJing overseas/club collective website

What up people. I live in NY but am looking to start DJing in europe. I found this website called Club Collective.
www.clubcollective.com
It lists "top parties" and "clubs" for a few cities and seems like it has plans to hit up alot more. Since I don't have any people overseas I don't have anyway of knowing if this sites info is acurate.
Any of you overseas guys heard of this.
Also any tips on how I can get some overseas work would be much appreciated!!
I'm spinning House and lots of disco, electro type stuff these days. Took a few years off (only spinning a monthly gig for native NYer's called the Magic Garden) to concentrate on Film career. A little sick of NY's bullshit "bottle service to get into the club" scene and hear europe's House scene is on fire.

all jokes aside if you want to perform overseas....RULE#1: TAKE a trip to where you want to go. MEET with the promoters and club owners and most importantly DJs. They will be the ONLY ones you can help you.
No offense but noone is going to hire you overseas, pay you, without knowing WHO you are and if you are any good. Especially in the EDM scene, because this is where EDM practically started. Now if you played hiphop or another genre which is imported overseas you might have a better shot.
Again you can use a booking agency BUT ONCE AGAIN nooone is gonna rep you if they dont know who you are and wha you can do.
Ive DJ'ed in the Philippines, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. This was by luck because I met a DJ who was a resident at a Tokyo club who had connections to clubs in HK and Manila. So I went with it and got the hustle game on.

I kind of figured that. I was thinking I should at least have some idea of spots to check out so I could try to set up some sort of meet and greets some I could set something up for the future.
Oh and by the way House started somewhere between NY and Chicago.

Herrera and J rock, it may have started here in Detroit and Chicago but nobody made any real money until it went to Europe, where it was raped, sodomized, and watered down into bastard child called Trance that we all know and love today....

TIESTO SUCKS alongside with Guetta and alike DJ's. House started in the US, Electro in Europe. Now, except maybe for Funky&Vocal house, there s nearly nothinh happening in the US. All in Germany, UK, Belgium, France...Europe Like!

i think going over seas to dj is all about taking a chance,, and how determined you are to succeed!
i moved from london to china to dj,, only knew one person in china! and went to stay with her and she showed me around the clubs,, and tried her best to introduce me to promoters, club owners,, and she didnt even know them, so it was all down to what kind of game i brought with me. plan your shit out,, what your gonna say when you meet promoters, club owners, and be able to back most of it up..
try hard to avoid the cockblockers.. they are everywhere!!! and will promise you hook ups and just keep you dangling on a string, if they feel their position is threatened by you. its dog eat dog out there bruv!
but if you are good enough, people will see that and you should do ok.
