Best Mid-range DJ headphones?

What do people think are the best headphones in the £50-£80 bracket? I've been a bit of research on the best dj headphones for a post over the past few days and i've come to the conclusion that Sennheiser HD25s are probably the best bet, especially if you can get them slightly cheaper on Ebay or Gumtree. Does anyone else use anything similar that they prefer to the HD25s?

Unfortunately DJ headphone are est 150$ (+). Technics Sony and Pioneer are industry standard - I personally Pioneer HDJ 1000's (160ish$)
The cheaper cans are usually the studio headphones that dont' have a high enough impedance to give you a nice thumpy punch-like sound, with high kicks. they literally are "mid range" with they're sound reproduction (no pun intended).
I've owned a pair of Seinheissers (sp?) and went to Pioneers and, wow, what a difference.
The problem with DJ'ing is that you actually have to turn up the studio (aka Seinheissers for me) much louder to hear the punch and kick over your nightclub sound system - this poses a serious hearing loss risk. I actually turn my Pioneers up to a much lower level vs. my old Seinheissers
Save up, and save your ears - and get the Technics or Pioneers. it's worth the extra 150$

I'm using Denon HP700 and they great. Loud, comfy. They're the best headphones I've used so I don't know how they compare to the pioneers. I'd recommend these.

i've goon though way too many 100-200 dollar pairs of headphones, i always break them so only the left ear works and i'm getting sick of it.
i'm just gonna switch to these $20 dollar monoprice headphones

just got them today, they sound decent and are comfortable on my head, not so comfortable around my neck so i'll just set them down when not needed....i've only used them at home i'll report back with how they sound in live use.

I've been using the AV-JEFE VER900 for about a year now and it is awesome for the price. Very similar to the Pioneer HDJ-1000 but at half the price. Highs are crisp and lows are deep which is surprising. Comes with extra ear pads and a carrying case which are great since my Sony MDR-700's ear pads are pretty messed only after a year of use (good luck finding replacement pads). Looking to get a 2nd pair soon.
