So theres a feature that is built into the CDJ2000's when used with a DJM900 or DJM 2000 That i would love to be fixed with SSL's HID mode.
When you have Cdj's linked to a linkable mixer, and move the fader up, the deck turns RED to indicate that it is "On Air". This feature works great and would help on those drunken St paddy's day nights at the club. When you link the cdjs to SSL this feature instantly stops working. Why? i see no reason on why it should. Serato Please fix this, and put it in an update pre 2.4 (like make a 2.3.4 update, cause im never moving up to 2.4)

I don't think that's possible as it's linked via the fader start on the mixer, and sent through the ethernet cable, no midi involved.

As the Ethernet system is totally removed from the HID/midi system with Pioneer, it's going to require a different hardware arrangement from them.

Its not linked though the fader start its linked though the eithernet.
And excatly theres no MIDI involved. So why is this function being stopped because SSL LINK is engaged.
I dont see a reason on why the signal being sent from mixer to turn the platter red cant still be passed to the the decks just because the Serato Link in active. and the second you load a track in to the CDJ via some other forum than HID control, the link feature starts to work again.
