Hello, recently i decide to move on to Serato Scratch Live to play my digital musics
But i have some doubts about build the crates, i will very thankful if someone can respond my doubts...
1. I see everybody saying that's to build the crates and tag the files in iTunes is better to do than do this internal in Serato, but i can't figure out why is better !!! (in my case my files don't have any tag filled, all my files is .wav so i need to tag all fields, artists, genres, etc....)
2. A few days i try elaborate a method to tag all my musics, in Itch, i have a lot of A LOT OF, fusion genre tracks, in a big range difference in BPMs, my library is composed by tracks with 70Bpm over 130Bpm, a big variety in genres and tempos, a lot of tracks fill in too many genres and styles, a lot of slo-mo disco, house cosmic funk fusion edits, my library is too much composed by tracks that are crossover genres, for me organize my vinyl record crates is easy, because i memorize the art cover, but I'm new with all this digital way, and i trying to index all my digital library a few months with no success, is to new for me think in that way of djing, and the organization is excencial for me because i play a big variety of sounds, hip-hop, jazz, soul, r&b, disco, house and all that sub genres stuff between...
If someone can share your knowledge about the way of thinking in organization on digital djing i will really appreciate!
Greetings from Brazil! sorry for my english, i will trying the best that i can hehe !
