Talk about Serato Video and Video-SL.

Just tried both MBP 13" and 17"

Well today I used my 2011 13" MBP and my brand new MBP 17"...I first used it on my NS6 and I can say that it was fun just trying video out. It's amazing how easy it is. I liked working on the NS6 with video but, lots of wasted screen space for video. Hopefully soon they can give 4 channel players the option to see only 2 channels. The 13" was fine, it chugged along without any major problems, the indicator light was in the middle the whole time. I moved over to the 17" and this thing is AWESOME! The load on the indicator wasn't moving and hardly had any load on it. All the videos just moved along without any glitches at all. I then set up my NS7 and it made a world of difference getting rid of the 2 unused channels in Serato Video. Lots more space to work in and around. I personally like the NS7 more with Serato Video than the NS6. All settings for both the 13" and the 17" on both NS6 and NS7 were on the best. It was fun and easy...I hope MixEmergency can figure out how to latch on the Serato Video because there are a ton of features there that I'd like to have and use. I understand both sides of the coin the people ultimately hurt are the customers. I believe it's Serato's choice whether on purpose or not, if they want to let a program latch on...think about it, you invested time, energy and money in a product but, I'm going to make a product that makes money and uses your device to make that money. Like i said earlier I hope things work out and that the only people that suffer then are the consumers.

I constantly read how people complain about how Serato Video or VSL isn't working for them. Further I read that those people, 98% are PC users. Trust me I was a PC user and I didn't understand the big deal. A very good friend of mine back in 2007 had a DJ residency in Las Vegas and he swore by Serato and Apple. I soon followed suit and I have to tell you, they might be more expensive but, they just work. soon after buy my first 17" MBP, I looked into buying a used 12" PowerBook. I soon also bought a used Black MacBook, last year I bought the 13" MacBook Pro and last week I bought another 17" MacBook Pro. I haven't had any trouble with them really and if I ever do run into any problems i just take in and its done. I have 5 Macs altogether and I use them all for various things. I will say, yes I believe, in freedom of choice but, Serato was written originally for a Mac so why wouldn't you use it? Most people on here say "Save your time and ultimately your money" get a Mac.

Thanks for the community of people here, you guys are awesome!
