yeah... I can't believe the program will even start... hope you dump your history daily. I totally appreciate the level of organization. would love to have that on my back up drives. more for swapping sessions than anything... crates in serato? can't do it

i have easily that many crates + about the same for itunes playlists - takes a bit to load, but once it's loaded it's fine...

you made my head hurt just thinking about that sorting process, i broke mine down into basic groups but i don't have the time anymore to listen to that many songs to categorize it like that. is there a program that can correctly tag genres for you?

believe it or not SO FAR*** serato starts right up... im hovering about 320 gb on my hd so far and each crate has a 1 song place holder (except didn't do the acapellas/ instrumentals section yet)

to be honest dac I don't know,
I am doing it manually track by track...
Wish Serato would include a plug in with many advanced library management features in it, such as dupin, tidy up, mixed in key, platinum notes etc
