Quick Question.

When you open a file in Windows Explorer. The files either come up as tiles, list, thumbnails etc.

How can I set explorer so my files are always in ''list'' format for example??

It used to do this but I think someone was sat at my PC whilst I was on holiday.

ive wondered the same... i have so much damn music on my computer, that EVERY folder i make.. whether it has movies... or just word documents, will format itself with "Artist, Song title, Genre, Track #" as the folder options. So annoying. gotta constantly change them.

The music one i don't mind. I'm in month end reprot mode and I'm constantly looking at spreadsheets from this month and last month and the month before that etc etc.

I suppose I could stop slacking on the internet but that would be too easy a solution. Lol.

1. Open a folder
2. Select the type of view you want (thumbs, details, list, etc.)
3. Click the Tools at the top
4. Click Folder Options
5. Click View tab
6. Click Apply to All Folders
