I have this "irritation" at the top of my ass crack. Its kind of like a pimple on the inside of one of my ass cheeks. (holy crap this is embarassing) Its been there for over a week and it itches like a mother fucker. I've read some stuff online that says to just leave it alone, and use a non abbrasive soap when showering. I'm using Dove body wash for the time being (usually use old spice High endurance body wash) and sleeping in the NUDE (no homo)

WebMD says it can be caused by slouching in chairs, which is definetly the case, because now that I have this issue, i realize that every way I sit (couch, work chair, etc) that i put all the pressure on my tailbone area. Well this shit is really getting annoying.... and embarassing when i itch my ass everywhere I walk.

The more i sit still, the better it is. Like in the morning it feels fine.. but as the day goes on, it gets worse.

Well today it seems as though another one has formed on the inside of the other cheek (where the 1st one would touch). These are not anywhere near my ass hole, just at the very top of the ass crack/tailbone area.

Spare me the embarassment and please tell me there's some sort of remedy for this. If its not gone by friday i'm going to the doctor. I've read that taking Epsom Salt baths for 20 minutes can help...

This is really common, someone I know had the same thing and the doc said a lot of people get it (sounds like the same thing anyways). It's usually caused by an ingrown hair or infection. It's like a pimple or boil. Get that ish checked out b/c if it gets bad then you might have to get it lanced or surgically removed

I would go see your doctor if it's that bad, it can turn into an abcess and that won't be fun (I work in a surgeons office) don't let it get to that point.

BTW, i just want to add that my most recent STD test was 2 months ago (cuz my gf is a natzi and has made me get tested like 5x since we started dating!) and i am all clear... So no STD/homo/butt rape jokes! :)

i had a HORRBILE cyst on my ass when i was 9. It was horrible. The thing was the size of a golf ball and itched sooooo bad. It got to the point that when we went to the hospital i was there with a long white t-shirt and nothing else. no drawers or nothing.

Could be an ingrown hair. My mate had one on the inside of one of his ass cheeks and it got infected and he had to have surgery several times because it healed at the surface of the skin but the infection was deep down.

So my advice to you is go the the doctor straight away cos the longer you wait, the more pain you'll suffer not only with your lump but possibly more surgery and recurring infections.
