Buying a Sixty-one in the US, using it in Europe?

Xfade 8:40 AM - 20 February, 2012
Hi,

I'm thinking about importing a Sixty-One since they are about $500 more expensive in Sweden.
Now I'm wondering if I can just hook it up with a power cable that has a Swedish connection and start playing or would I have to get an adapter or change a hardware setting for the mixer?

Thanks for all and any help :)

i'd also like to know when are the new mixers officially shipping to europe?

sorry for hijacking your post xfade :)

its got the 100v - 240v power source like the ttm57 so you wont need a power converter, just the correct power cord for your country.

from the 62 manual...
www.rane.com

Power Suppl y
The Sixty-Two features an internal universal
switching power supply that operates on any AC
mains 100 to 240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz (most places
in the world). All that is required when traveling
is the appropriate IEC line cord which is usually
readily available. The universal supply is a major
plus for the traveling DJ. Leave the power
unplugged until everything else is connected

Beware --- if you need warranty work done, you will have ship to country of origin or no dice!! :-(

So has anyone imported their sixty-one/sixty-two yet?

Where did you buy it? What were the shipping costs and how long did it take to arrive?

Question are they shipping it to you outside the USA? or going to a us address first?

Your warranty is only valid in the country of purchase. If you need repairs and want it covered under warranty you will pay shipping both ways and any import / customs duties and tariffs.

But I know you'll enjoy it so have some fun and let us know if you have any questions.

It said international shipping. So I guess it's going here straight :)

Chad, I know, but the price differens between buying it here in Sweden and importing it was so large so I'm hoping I won't have to do too many repairs on it :P
