what coffin are you looking to get to replace since it wont fit????

I do not know what is available out there that will fit the Sixty-Two.

Technically i can fit the mixer in my old coffin.
I just have to do some cutting or removing the padding completely.
these padding are the ones glued to the wood.
Removing the padding could scratch up the sides of the mixer during transport.

Let me see if i can find some thinner padding.

According to Odyssey there will be a coffin available sometime soon. Right now to our knowledge the only case that will fit the 62 is the FZ10MIX or the BL version. There is a video that Ty did showing with a slight modification to allow it to fit.

I have the roadready coffin and its a tight fit.. You have to run some L shape cables. I have my xlr modded to the back of my case. now I gotta buy new coffin.

First hand report is bad ass mixer. had 4 day playing with it at namm and yesterday and today at home. all I gotta say is They did that.( meaning its the shit). there selling out fast. where I got mines from there all gone.

Nah, no plans to at the moment. I sold my 909 when the 57 came out, and I kinda missed it, so I just got one from my boy over the weekend. It has all I need since I don't use loops or cue points etc...

I got mine last night. First gig - Tonight. I guess I have a few hours to figure out whats what.

I have the Road Ready case that you are talking about about. It fits almost perfect. The clearances for the knobs and the headphones are good and the detachable wood cover latches down fine. The name of the case is the RR10MIX.

I just got mine yesterday, the effects and loops and other bells and whistle are great but I aint feeling these new Rane mixers at all. I've been using them for years. Still have my MP 24z and currently use 57 and SL4 with a MP 2016S but there's just too many damn lights! In the dark unless you know this mixer it's confusing. Forget about after a few drinks. The lights should be labeled like a Mac book keyboard. It clips way too fast too! I have the 57 and I can raise the gain to 12 o' clock no clipping, drop the eq bass all the way down, no clipping, this mixer 12 o' clock on the gains and red, red, red.. Doesn't sound bad, but it sounds digital.0( I'll stick with my 57 and my SL4 box.

leave your channel gains just under clipping and then crank the master! will sound awesome...also you can turn of the lights in the software...

Stop comparing the 62 to the 57.......their not the same mixers and just like I had to do coming off of the Empath/SL3/Traktor Kontrol X1 combination, make the adjustment!

btw, i got mines at guitar center, i saw agipro.com had a bundle rand 62 plus sl video for 1999.99
i ran to my local store G.C. talk to the same dude i talk allways, he did way better then price match it. he give me the bundle for 1800.00, so i got my 3 years warranty for it.

Supporting agiprodj.com will help to keep videos in production. :) The best case to fit the 62 is the newer version of the FZ10MIX from Odyssey. older styles will not quite fit right but the newer version have a slighting larger mixer well. The wood cord cap for covering cords can be a little snug when the mixer is in and you close the lid but its nothing that a little sanding wont fix.
