it has a 1.7Ghz i5 but the minimum is 1.8 core 2 duo for the sl1 which i will be using?
just like to know as i need to upgrade my pc and looking at them as they look purrdy :)

It will most likely run fine, but its limited on USB ports and you never want to connect the Interface to a Hub so that computer is usually not recommended.

Macbook or Macbook Pro will work perfect.
