The problem is that the view (of song/artist/bpm/length), that i have selected keep expanding so i cannot see the artist or bpm or length. i have to scroll to the right, very fiddly, very annoying. why doesn't it stay in the column size i select? why would anyone EVER want the info off the screen?!! please help me with this irritating deal breaker

Do you have Custom Crate Views selected in the Set-up under the Library tab? If you UN-check this option, all Crates should look exactly the same as the ALL Crate. So format the ALL Crate however you want and all other crates should follow suit.

The column width will default to the longest song's listing, so you probably have a track somewhere with a really long song name or it has junk spaces or underscores in the title.

sounds more like a broken file to me...
or maybe RafaelM is right..

i do have some long Artist columns (feat. him and him and his mother),and i had to smaller the artist as well as the song column to see all infos i wanna see...and it stays like that.
every Crate has a different column sizes.
CustomCrates activated of course.
