Hey Guys,
Soo.. long story short I have read through several of the help forums before posting. This post right here most closely matches my problem.
serato.com
I have a 3 month old TTM 57 that I baby and use once a week at most. I always have my crossfader curve set to fast and set in reverse because I scratch hamster style.
Recently, I have noticed the cut-in time on the right side of fader is lagged by another 1 mm than the left side. It's definitely not like new.
So I researched, I followed the thread about hall sensors and cleaning and lubricating. All the hall sensors were fine. I asked some DJ friends and they confirmed the hall sensors looked fine and I tried and tested about 5 or 6 times with no luck.. still sharp as new on the left and the right right.. not so great.
So here I am stumped in a last ditch effort I was told all the faders were the same. I swapped my right up-fader channel with my crossfader and I still have the same exact results!
So now I am leaning toward it's not a hardware problem with the faders themselves (they are all practically new) I have made sure flex fx buttons aren't on and I am pretty sure that all the effects are turned off. Is their any way I can factory reset the mixer? This is my last thought before having to send in an almost new mixer.
I'll update this thread with my serial number.
Things I haven't done:
-Tested with another laptop (just in case)
Things I have done:
-Tested with another turntable, in internal mode, changed needles all that.
-Tried turning off reverse and still exhibits the same behavior\
-Updated OSX to latest, and Serato to latest version, as well as the mixer.

Usually adjusting the hall sensors should fix it but if your saying your suffering from the same issue regardless of what fader your putting in the crossfader position it sounds like the firmware in the mixer needs to be re calibrated.
Unfortunately there is no way for you to recalibrate the faders. You will need to send your unit in to do that as we have specific software for that.
Give us a call and we'll get you a RA number for return --> serato.com

Thanks for the response Zach. Yea, I def would of loved it to just be the hall sensors but between two faders with almost no wear on either I have to believe it's software based and not a physical issue. I'll place a call and get this shipped out after my gigs this weekend. It's still working just not as it should be :X
Thanks again,
Steve
