Goodday people,

Just received the VCI-300 II with the Serato Itch software. I don't seem to get any sound from it. :-( The set up is like this: Macbook is connected with the USB cable to the VCI-300 II (different US ports have been tried). The RCA cable is put in the Master Out RCA of the VCI-300 II. A RCA cable (2x RCA plugs red and white) is running from the VCI-300 II to my Pioneer DJM-600 mixer on the 1st channel called CH-1 line (other channels have been tried also). The DJM-600 is connected to my speakers M1 Active USB. If I use the same RCA cable on my CDJ 1000 MK3 the sound comes out of the speakers. So speakers, mixer and RCA cables are fine I suppose. If I play a song on Itch without the VCI-300 II connected, I hear sound from the internal Macbook speakers, but as soon as I connect the VCI 300 II nothing. I can however stop and play the song through the VCI 300 II, but no lights on the LED's next to the channel faders. I also tried connecting the active speakers directly to the VCI 300 II, but to no avail Anybody has a solution for me?

When you plug in the vci to your confuser, do both players show up on your screen, or only one player. If you have both players showing, can you hear anything through your headphones? All your knobs should be at 12:00 o'clock cross fader in the middle.

Hi Leon K,

As Panotaker has asked, do the two virtual decks show on your computer screen?

Is there any sound coming through your headphones?

Can you ensure, than on the back of your VCI-300 unit, "PC" is selected, not "THRU"

Thanks
