massive usb drop outs and serato crashing

posted this in the help section but you guys always help as well

I was at a gig tonight. I had massive usb dropouts all night and finally i pushed b6 group on my mixer for effect and it froze and crashed and serato crashed immediately. I had to switch to my iphone in the aux and then another computer

this has never happened before and was only after 4 or 5 songs so early in the gig

I keep some music on an external 2 tb fire wire drive and some on my internal. Latency is set to 1. It has never happened before and was an embarassment at the gig worked fine with a different computer w no music on internal so im wondering what people think the problem is and what to do about it? maybe try new usb cord?

Did you scan you external for any corrupt files?

Yeah, and deleted them this morning, also upgraded to 2.3.3 still waitin on some help from serato though usually they are much faster
