Question about analyzing your music files in Serato between 2 computers

Question about analyzing your music files in Serato between 2 computers

If I have an external HD that I connect both to a desktop and a laptop do I need to analyze the same files on both machines? Or can I just analyze everything on the external HD on the desktop and then be ready to go (as far as analyzing the files in serato) when I plug that HD into a laptop?

I didn't see how to edit your posts here. My apologies if my first post is unclear. I'm saying if I keep all of my music on an external HD, that I use both on a Desktop & Laptop.

it will be good to go once its analysed on the desktop,
i mostly use my quad core desktop to get through some files as its a lot quicker then the laptop thats only a dual core
