Having just gotten my Twitch - installed Itch..I thought at first I was simply doing it wrong..but now I'm not so sure..can anybody else tell me if it's normal for the PFL audio to be fully audible even though the fader is on "0" after using an effect on that channel..
Effect has been turned off...
Could it be the case that the fader doesn't reset to "location" once the effect is turned off?
Itch 2.1
Twitch Controller
Win7 Ult 64bit
8gb Ram
AMD (I know, it's not supported) Athlon 64x2 6400+ @3.2Ghz
& After all these years it seems a very limited talent.. But I REFUSE to use sync..

The fader FX have a takeover function, so the audio level is unchanged after using an effect, until you move the fader back to it's previous position, at which point it takes back over.
It is to prevent the kind of situation where you could use an effect like a phaser, pull the fader all the way down, turn off the effect and find the channel is no longer audible.
If you want to combine an effect and a volume change, just set the master FX section to the channel you want, and use that instead.

Ok - so it's kinda-sorta as I suspected...not a bug, a feature :-)
Makes sense really to use the effects in the top corner when I want to fade out - I guess it's just a matter of getting used to..
Thanks for confirming Bob...
..now to rerecord :-)

No worries. At first it does seem a bit annoying, but it does kinda make sense from a safety point of view.
Don't forget you can always use the crossfader to cut the channel then worry about resetting the upfader afterwards.

Good call! :-)
Also noticed that the top led next to the slider seems to indicate that there's "volume" on the channel if the slider isn't reset.
I have to say I'm liking this little box of buttons, knobs and sliders more and more the more I use it.. I'm thinking the CD decks could be seeing eBay soon enough.

I had to borrow a friend's Twitch for a couple of gigs (not enough CDJs in the building) and I fell in love with it.
Still use SL for club gigs but for the midweek bar stuff I wouldn't go back.
1 USB, 1 phono cable. Setup in 30 seconds! Gotta love that. Plus the fact it fits in a regular record bag.
I could go on but it'd get boring...
