I am currently using Itch 1.7.1 on my 32-bit Vista platform, in conjunction with the VCI-300 and VFX-1 controllers. I would like to add on a Vestax PAD-ONE. What software (Scratch Live?), hardware (Rane SL 4?), and system requirements (minumum RAM & processor requirements, etc.) would be necessary for this setup?

You can't use the VCI fully with anything except Itch.

And you can't use the Pad One with Itch (unless you use a 3rd party program to convert midi to keystrokes).

What about Traktor Scratch?

AFAIK you can't assign the platters on the VCI300 in any software except Itch.

If you want a more flexible system then Traktor is the way to go, but you might as well sell the VCI and VFX and start over with a proper Traktor controller like the S2 or VCI-100.

Spoke too soon apparently there is a workaround... Not straightforward though.

I'd still suggest an S2 though. It's on Sale at the moment as well...
