is the error that i receive when opening a thread (since several days now)

I'm posting this from IE9. Works OK for me.
Are you using IE9 on a desktop/laptop or on a mobile?
Also, are you using "pure" IE9 mode or 'compatibility view'?

Man, I've got the same issue...been a few daysz now..

It appears that the error happens first, then you click past it, and then the "Discussion Toolbox" is able to appear.
I'm running Windows XP SP3 / Internet Explorer 8 and it occurs in BOTH Compatibility and NON-Compatibility mode...

False alarm, that was me at work on IE 7.

It had something to do with google +1 conflicting with our threadz, but all is good.

another problem in IE9:
when not in compat mode you can't really enter anything in the subject when starting a new thread

It seems to work fine with compatible mode off (IE9 standard) unless you are talking about compatible mode on (IE7 standard) ? We see that the subject box is tucked under the post box, is that what you're describing?

in compat mode is it ok
in native ie9 mode it is much better now, at least i can enter and read the subject
(so you changed this or what? :) i have the impression the font is different now)
