Everything lights up and is recognized but today when trying to use the VCI-300 the Play and Cue buttons do not work anymore. These controls used to work and I am thinking it has something to do with the new Itch upgrade. Please help.

Try adjusting the sensitivity dials on the rear?
DJManolo 10:54 PM - 6 February, 2012
Yes I tried adjusting the sensitivity dials on the rear on every position and variation. Everything else seems to work just fine except the Cue and Play buttons. The platters and all the knobs and buttons work fine as well.

I also tried this on an iMac with the same results. The Cue and Play buttons just blink with the blue light and thats it. I also tried pushing the buttons while moving the sensitivity left and right with no success.

HI DJManolo,

In the 'Playback' tab of the ITCH setup screen, make sure you don't have 'VCI Cue/Play Use Shift' enabled. This will mean that you have to also press shift aswell as play to play the song. Turn it off. You can read about it here : serato.com

The platters may be registering as being touched. Are the lights underneath the platter red or blue when you aren't touching them? They should be blue when you aren't touching them and red when they are. Have you adjusted jog wheel torque on the side as well?
