Hey guys,

Probably a newbie question but I've been having trouble getting the mic to work. Thinking it was just going to be as easy as pie to just connect the mic and have it work, it doesn't at all. Everything is in order and works perfectly fine except for the mic not working. Not sure if theres more steps to it or what (manual doesn't say much about the mic except that it has a mic input). Can anyone help me out?

the microphone i have is the SA-M20 from Seismic Audio. Plugged it in and doesn't work at all. No indicators of it actually working. Not sure if it's a mic problem, wiring problem or the VCI-300 itself. Desperately NEED HELP!

What is your computer specs? Processor? Ram? Etc? Did you adjust the mic gain? Let me know. Thanks.

Macbook 10.5.8 Leopard OS X. Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3. No matter where I have the mic's gain (mic level) at, it won't produce any sound. I'm not sure if there was an extra step somewhere when I installed Itch that I've missed, but I need to know what's wrong right now.

Did you try different mics? You can also you the mic aux input as well. Have you tried using that? Let me know. Thanks.
