What playback mode are you currently using?

Are you wanting to use the cueing and looping functions on the CD deck or the cueing and looping functions within the Scratch Live software?

hi thanks for getting back to me i am wanting to cue up song using the button on 1000 mk3 so i am not neeting to use laptop atall , basically want to use 1000mk3 as solely a controller like my 400, but when i cue up using pioneer it doesnt cue at start of song it cues up about 30s in , also when i use laptop to load song it starts playing straight away and doesnt give me time to pause
thanks again, p.s i dont know what setting to have 1000 on as it has no usb , dont know which one of the 3

The 1000s can't control Scratch Live's cues etc because they have no USB, you have to just think of them like a regular turntable in that regard.

You can use them in absolute mode, but the best thing to do is use relative mode. That way you can set up mulitple cuepoints in the software and use the keyboard or a midi controller to cue.

FYI, ayrshore, make sure the input level option within the Scratch Live setup screen Hardware tab is set to LINE and not phono :)
