WHEN I OPEN UP SEATO IT OPENS UP BUT WHEN I PLUG IN THE USB 4 SL3 ALL I GET IS THE RAINBOW ON MAC ITS NOT OPENING UP ....
AND IM NOT USEING ANY POWER SUPPLY FOR A WHILE NOW FOR THE SL3 ANYMORE I CANT FIND IT COULD THAT BE A PROBLEM ALSO ?

Do not use caps lock.
The missing power supply shouldnt be a problem.
Sounds like a corrupt driver. Are you still running 10.6.7?
Please update to 10.6.8 and we can continue :)

I just wanted you to do that before we continued.
Go to Mac HD/System/Library/Extensions Folder
Delete the SeratoScratchDriver.Kext
Re install Scratch Live and try again.
Any luck?

its working the same way it takes a long time to come on more than
10 mins then it loads up where i can play int mode !but i cant go anywhere to play like this so its still a problem .

Try this:
Exit Scratch Live
Open your Macintosh HD
Open the Library folder
Open the Audio folder
Open the MIDI Drivers folder
Take all the files within the MIDI Drivers folder and move them to your desktop
Restart SSL and retest
Exit Scratch Live
Open your Macintosh HD
Open the Library folder
Open the Audio folder
Open the MIDI Drivers folder
Take all the files within the MIDI Drivers folder and move them to your desktop
Restart SSL and retest

You dont need them to run Scratch Live. Your computer will rebuild the files if you ever need them for other Midi Controllers. You can store them somewhere safe if you want, but you probably wont need them again.
