So basically the 'year' tags in Serato are disappearing on me after I've used MIK to detect the keys.
Everything in itunes is as it should be but in serato it'll show the years for each track as '1' '2' '3' and so on, depending on how many m4a files i have.
When i change a tag back inside Serato it will stay, but only until i select that particular track again, then it will switch back from say '2012' back to '1'.
Is there a solution to this?

Same thing happens to me.
m4a files' 'year' tags in Serato disappear after I edit 'artist', 'song name', or 'genre' tag in Serato, and it'll show '1' '2' '3' or random numbers in the year tag.
Im using
Serato 2.3.3
Mac
Rane SL3
OS 10.5.8

According to my observations Year/Date is replaced with Track Number whenever MPEG-4 tags are written by ITCH/ScratchLive. See also: serato.com
Hopefully this will get fixed soon! Unfortunately it took me some time before I noticed that Serato messed up my music library :(

Thanks Tapir. It makes sense now.
This is definitely a big floor on Serato's side
