So i had an issue after i installed 2.0 in sept. It took me until now to get the firmup program and update. now that i have done it all I am having new issues with my controller.
Here are 4 that i have found so far:
1.Line fader #2 (right side) does not work at all
2. Line fader #1 acts as cross fader for both chanels -
when fader is up line #1 Volume is at full. As fader goes half down it fades line #1 off and once in middle sound from line #1 ends. Signal from line #2 starts and increases to full when fader is fully down.
3. Right jog wheel does not scratch in scratch mode. It acts the same as when scratch mode is off.
4. Right side shift button stops the song that is playing on right side. it then resumes playing once shift button is depressed.
I dont know why this has happend with the new update? These problems are more than I had before I did the firm up program.
Please help!

Hi DJ Precise1,
I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like the VCi-300 needs to be repaired but first I'll email you some instructions on how to fix it. Let me know if this helps. Thanks.

Ron

Ok, Ill wait on instructions.. I dont know why this new firmware is doing this to my vci?
The original firmware was working perfectly before I installed itch 2.0
After that is when everything started going haywire!

I have not recieved any instructions other than "did you install the firmware"? Of course I installed the new firmware, thats why Im having more problems. Can I please have a more qualified and reasonable response to my problem? I have spent a lot of money on your company and have been a supporter since 1997 with the a purchase of my first 05 pro and this is not the support that I that I would expect from such a company that I have regarded so highly for so many years... .

Hi DJ Precise1 ,
I apologize about the inconvenience. That is the only re-flash firmware option that was available. The other options is to send the VCi-300 for repair and they will re-flash through another method I'm sorry to say. Here is a link to our repair centers across the U.S. We do apologize about the inconvenience and do value your business. Please let me know how the repairs go and if you need further assistance. Thank you.

Hello, the vci300 was bought in Canada and brought to the Philippines to use for a bar in a somewhat remote area..
I cannot bring it to any repair centres in the US. What is my next option please?

Hi DJ Precise1,
I think the only option is to send it back to our distributor in Canada which is Erikson Audio. I will see what else we can do at our end if possible. I will keep you posted. Thanks.

Is this going to cost money to fix? Everything was working perfectly fine until the firmware updates were done. There was nothing wrong with my unit at all. It was the firmware update that cause all of these issues. The firmware updates are being issued by vestax to use on our controllers and it would seem extremely bad practice to make a customer pay for damage caused by a flawed update put out by Vestax.
