Xone 92 or Rane 62

Joeee FX 10:19 PM - 26 January, 2012
Hey guys I know it's a little early to ask about the Rane 62 since it has not been released. I have a TTM 57 now and I was thinkin of selling for either the Xone 92 or the Rane 62 just cant really make up my mind. I like the dual USB and the magnetic faders,
Xone 92 supposly has better sound quality, 2 mic outputs and was told its more of a house mixer. I play everything anyways but I would like to know your input and what you would suggest thanks

that is comparing apples and pears.

xone 92 has a 4 band eq,
and has four channels, ...

sixty two has two channels, scratch live interfaces built in for two djs, software controls, filters, six different effects, postfader return of scratch live's software effects, magnetic faders, ... yeah that is what comes into my mind right now.

both are great built quality and have good sound

personally i would prefer the Rane 62 any time.

but Rane SixtyTwo and Xone 92 are so different to each other, their only resemblance is they end with a "2" in the name,
and that is only when you say, it not even when you write their names ("2" vs "Two").

Really. Apples and pears, IMHO.

no one can really decide this for you ;-)

Cheers

Its been a mintue since I've been on here. I'm actually thinking about this too. The Xone 92 is a great mixer. I've owned mine for just over 2 years now and absolutely love it. Now I'm actualy thinking of replacing it with a 62. I may keep my Xone 92, but I haven't used it in 2012. I have a couple of other set ups, and would rather have a 62 go with my 1200s. If I keep the Xone 92, I'll probably run it with a cd set up.

If you already have one of the rane/serato interfaces, you can't go wrong with the Xone 92.
