some options would be:

- different, maybe shorter usb cable
- increase the latency
- turn everything off while running ITCH
- try a different usb port
- check the system load next time it happens

and what do you mean by "optimized for ITCH"?

because everything is so awarded to the pc? if the problem is ITCH? at least in my case. Today configure VDJ to see if it is the same, and to my surprise it works perfect! I made a set of 4 hours and never froze!, then the problem is ITCH, solve the problem and come back to use it but ... ITCH goodbye.

Hy Dave. The problem is the same as always, but stop discusion because I use VDJ. Now I want to use ITCH and problems continue as usual. While some theme music is playing in a few seconds the all controlers freezes and do not respond, the controller stops sending data but is reset after 5 seconds. I tried everything and can not find solution. Please help me.

I'd say it's something quite specific to your laptop maybe. Have you tried another computer to see if it happens there too?

I tried it with three computers with different configurations and it is the same, so I do not understand is that it works perfect with VDJ cracked. My notebook is new Dell Ci5, 4G Ram, W7 64bit, etc.

Sounds like it is something to do with the Unit if it's happening with other computers. Not sure about Virtual DJ.

Dave, just looking for a solution and I have no intentions of lying, if the HC5000 works perfect with VDJ Pro as it might be a equipment problem? This is not logical. Do you reported this to the developers???

sorry I travel this days, Martin C the buffer set is 512 because in low latencies a red light indicating possible drops outs. I probe the computer optimization guide also.

No, RATTV3 is only for Windows XP.

well here is the report, there were several freezes in 5 minutes also record a video.

Couldn't see anything abnormal in DPC Trace report. watch video now, will see if i can see anything that helps me diagnose your issue.

Sounds like it could be something to do with the Denoon if it's freezing on other computers too. Do you have the latest updates for the Dennon HC5000? I'm no sure if there are any updates. Maybe a faulty controller.

It looks to me that it is something to do with the controller because it happens on other computer, i can't reproduce your issue here otherwise i'd say it maybe a bug. Was there any version it did not do this?

I don't have an answer for that Bros Djs we don't make VDJ or Traktor, you maybe right but it also maybe something with the unit or a setting of some sort i'm unsure..

Yes I understood the first time Bros DJs. We don't know why the Dennon which you are using is freezing on you. I'm sorry, if it is doing it on other computers you may want to have it looked at by a Dennon distributor.
I can not answer your question as to why the controller works ok with these other software applications. I've tested this and can't reproduce it here so it's not a bug.

ok one more question, I can test on my Win7 MAC emulating? ITCH works under virtaulization?

I actually haver the same problem with my laptop freezing. Windows 7 tells me the program is not responing and freezes. My laptop is a dedicated laptop for DJing only. Last month I picked up a HP Pavilion g7 6 GB memory AMD A8 processor and it froze up on me last night. Currently using Itch 1.2. Tried the 2.2.2 and it froze up. Will try another fresh install.

Also can I run video with my Itch? I use all Denon gear: X900 mixer, HC5000 controller, DN4500 CD drive back up.

Unfortunately AMD processors computer are not Supported. This may well be the reason for your issues DJ Loop.

Problem solved, after trying on 4 computers with different configurations, all we did was install win 7 ultimate and no application and no charge to msconfig and only default and basic services.

No reason was because VDJ does not have this problem in any configuration (??). So goodbye VDj and welcome Serat ITCH.

That if I install the version 2.2.2 and the problem appeared again :( only with the V 2.0 runs stable.
