With the risk of beating a dead horse (or however it is you're supposed to say that in English), I would like to know the possibility of the following change request be implemented.
The context: I organize my collection by Label and keep very strict track of catalogue numbers for the releases I own. I then sort my music by album so it is sorted by catalogue.
However, sometimes I want to sort it by label instead so all music on one label gets grouped, but then it will be secondary sorted by artist, and I would rather have it sorted by album (or whatever column I desire at that point).
So I would like to suggest a feature that allows for this behaviour: add an option to the configuration that lets you choose the secondary sorting column based on the previously selected column for sorting. So if I then want to sort by label, then album, then I first click the album header, then the label header and presto! This is common behaviour
This feature could be disabled by default for people who rather have the standard secondary sort by artist. Then people who want to sort differently could disable a checkbox in the library section of the setup.

Oh sorry. Please ignore the 'this is common behaviour' sentence at the end of paragraph 4. I started to write that but then decided I was saying something I could not back up with examples. My apologies.

Is there a commitment goal for responding to these posts or should I just keep waiting? :)

I agree on the 'secondary sorting check box' because I sort by bpm and most of my dancehall tracks are named by album first, so a lot of my files get mixed up due to SL secondary sort by artist, (NEED TO CHANGE SECONDARY SORT TO FILE NAME) or whatever the user choose.. come on SL its about time this have been delt with, enough people have complained about this same issue..

Hehe yeah I noticed a few more discussions about this.
I suppose it's related to Serato's goals with respect to user interface usage. It will make it more complex after all, but even then I think a lot of people would definitely benefit greatly from it.
You could also hire me, then I'll implement it for you! ;)
