Help!! My ttm57 won't turn on!

Djnedksm 8:36 PM - 12 January, 2012
I feel so confused right now! I haven't had this mixer a fortnight and it's just gone dead out of the blue :( very very sad.. I have been out all day and I just got some time now to practice on it but after turning the power on and pressing the power switch on the back of the mixer there was no reaction! First I made sure there was power coming thru to the mixer, which there was and then I tested the mixers power cable on my turntable and it works fine, finally I moved to another power point and it still won't turn on even after switching it on and off severally :( I just used it yesterday and it was fine and I've never even taken it on a gig yet.. We had power blackouts today and yesterday but I always keep the mains to the equipment off unless I'm using them.. Needless to say I'm having a panic attack right now! I'll call the dealer I bought it from tomorrow but I'm in a state of shock right now and I don't want to be told that it will cost me a bomb to get it fixed.. anyone ever had this issue or similar?

Call the dealer and have them replace it or send it out to get fixed. If still under warranty it will cost you nothing to get it fixed.

Refund and wait for the new one.

They have received it, waiting for them to let me know what the issue is.

I'd much rather have this one back

Hey man, I see you have made the exact same thread over here serato.com and Chad S from Rane is providing assistance. It isn't really necessary to make two of the exact same topic, thanks :)

Good news! I received my 57 this morning, and have been playing on it for about 20 mins, its working ok and even my settings have been retained, the dealer sent me the old circuit board too.. It's been a costly lesson but I'm glad it's back and working again, I missed it terribly!

Good to hear!

Definitely get a hold of a surge protector if you can, sounds like your power supply isn't very reliable.
