I would like a 'last played' tab to be added as an option for organizing our music. Basically, any time you play a song, whether it be in a crate or whatever, it jumps to the top of the list, then, if you dont play it for a while it drops in 'rank', then when you play it again, it goes back to the top. the program should keep track of the date and time that i played the track so that if 1 song appears in more then 1 crate it will have the appropriate rank in relation to the other songs in that family. it would be similar to the way 'date modified' works.

Dj's that play 'current' music at top 40 clubs (myself included) download ALOT of music and have to constantly sift through our libraries to filter the 'good stuff' from the junk. the problem is that we end up spending most of our time adding new music and deleting old music from our crates, BUT, all we really want to know is what we've been playing recently. the tracks we played more often would have the highest rank, therefore, we know that those are current and 'good'.

i know from experience that its an amazing tool (cuz other programs i used to use had it), and more importantly, i dont think its too difficult to implement since u already have 'history' in place.
