I don't think it does but you still can get the control records at music stores. They probably run about 10-15 dollars.
Hope that helps.

It comes with everything you need to get started (including control vinyl)
The software CD will most likely have Scratch live ver. 1.6
Just go to the download section here on this site and update to the newest version (official 1.7.4)
Or get risky and try the Beta 1.8
You'll most likely want to update the firmware on the mixer it's self also.
After installing 1.7.4 go to the hardware tab in the set up screen and hit update firmware.

what are control records? Are you talking about those one things that the record companies use to control illegal downloading of music? ;)

Thank you for the response. After Spending $3,000 I was hoping I did not need to spend an additional $15 and $20 in gas to get them.

yeah, that's wack that your 57 didn't come with them. could just be a random slip up at the factory...hopefully not a sheisty reseller. PSSL generally has a good rep tho.

if your 57 didn't come with the vinyl, it's probably becuase the retail store that you bought it from opened the box and took them out. mine cam with vinyl.

how would the green ones "feel" bootleg?
fact: the blue, yellow, and red "official" control vinyls ARE thicker and heavier. it's not a debate.
