TTM 57SL Firmware Update?

gzentertainment 4:28 PM - 6 November, 2007
I never installed the firmware update that came with 1.7.2 and I updated my SL software to 1.7.4 already. Can I download/update just the firmware without going back to 1.7.2 and then re-installing 1.7.4?

We make it even easier :-)

Go to the hardware panel setup screen and click the update firmware button.

if the update firmware button doesnt appear in the hardware setup menu using the 57....does this mean that im using the latest version?

the only time i saw the button was after updating to 1.7.4 so i hit it and the mixer updated to v2.10. all good.

is v2.10 the latest version and what happened to the update firmware button...?

If your using the 1.8 pb2 the latest firmware is 3.03. I used it last nite. No issues

OK - i tried the firmware update

(I run a 12" powerbook OS X 10.4.10 with full 1.25 gig ram, a TTM 57, a Lacie D2 500 gig on a firewire 400 connection and a pair of 1200's and was running 1.7.4 and 1.8 this weekend)

after about 3-4 hours of mixing I would get some USB dropouts and audio crackling stuttering

basically right in the dancing part of the night when people were getting into it.

I have my screen updates at 10 per second maximum and the buffer at 3-4 m/s

just wondering if I can go back to the latest stable firmware

and when to expect and update

thanks for your time - other than a few glitches and human error this is the best mixer and rig I have ever run!

It's probably your computer, the newer Serato versions, requires a little higher spec laptop. You probably need to turn up your usb buffer. I remember trying to play on my 1.67 Powerbook with 2 gigs of Ram and I had to definitely ease up on the buffer.

If you have upgraded your firmware and you need to downgrade please do the following:
1. Run the older version of Scratch LIVE with the mixer attached.
2. Power off the mixer
3. Hold the two High kill buttons down while powering on the mixer.
4 The kill lights will all be lit up red, and the firmware will downgrade to the version that shipped with that Scratch LIVE version. When the kill lights go out, the update is complete.
