tig ol' bitties 7:53 PM - 5 November, 2007
ive heard of some good line dancing spots. want the names?
DJ Young Herrera 7:56 PM - 5 November, 2007
Very funny.

I know of the standard spots in Nashville, but I haven't really gone out since I was in High School. I'm trying to find out the true hot spots. Something exclusive.

Nashville doesn't have a lot of that.
DVDjHardy 7:59 PM - 5 November, 2007
Never mind, I know somebody in Knoxville & Chattanooga.

DJ Young Herrera 8:13 PM - 5 November, 2007
I don't think anyone in TN knows what serato is...
tig ol' bitties 8:16 PM - 5 November, 2007
I dont think anyone in TN knows what anything is. Besides Elvis.
DJ Young Herrera 8:57 PM - 5 November, 2007
Not true. The clubs in TN are off the chain, but its dirrty south style and slightly ghett-ro.

So do they say:

"Airbody" or do they say "Ya'll" ?

People who grew up in Richmond use Ya'll. I think southern accents make you sound like a retard
DJ Young Herrera 9:37 PM - 5 November, 2007
Errbody is STL. They say Y'all in TN. Southern accents can be fly. Especially on a hot chick. TN is pretty genteal as far as the south goes.

by the way, ghett-ro is basically ghetto metro. haha.
tig ol' bitties 9:39 PM - 5 November, 2007
might be just me, but i cant take girls with southern accents seriously.
DJ Young Herrera 9:40 PM - 5 November, 2007
You not be knowin tig...
djbriguy 10:36 PM - 5 November, 2007
i dont mind an accent.. its the reeeaaally strong ones that get me. The country singer accents. You just sound retarded when you speak.

I feel the same about ebonics too...

Errbody Gone do dat.

Translation = Everybody is going to do that.
djmarvel 11:52 PM - 5 November, 2007
i dont know dude about tn clubs, i dj'd in memphis and they took me to 2 clubs on seperate nights and they both sucked. i never been to nashville but memphis is one ugly ass city
DJ Young Herrera 3:29 AM - 6 November, 2007
Nah, there are some very tight women in ca$hville. Back in the day the hot clubs were more underground. That's what I'm trying to find at present.
DJ Lethal Les 8:40 PM - 16 April, 2008
Tennessee clubs don't like it when you're actually mixing throughout the night. They want humanized jukeboxes with a basic blend for the last 8 bars of song 1 with the first 8 bars of song two. To make the club owners happy, you pretty much need to have a library of all remixed tracks (X-mix, Funkymix, etc.)

:-(
DJ Young Herrera 9:38 PM - 16 April, 2008
Whoa, you revived this one out of nowhere. Nice.

What? All Funkymix? That sounds horrible...

I haven't gone to any clubs the last few times I've been down home. Next time I go home, I'm gonna try and see what I can get into...
ninjaty 3:47 AM - 18 April, 2008
I was going to represent, but then I realized this is a really old thread.
DJ Young Herrera 1:54 PM - 18 April, 2008
Word? Where are you at?
ninjaty 5:42 PM - 18 April, 2008
Murfreesboro, but I spend a lot of time in the city. I guess Murfreesboro is practically a suburb of Nashville these days.
DJ Young Herrera 7:15 PM - 18 April, 2008
I'm from Murfreesboro originally!!! I went to Riverdale haha.
ninjaty 9:47 PM - 18 April, 2008
I've been here for about ten years now. I'm a student at MTSU. I live out in the Cason Lane area. Small world.
DJ Young Herrera 2:01 PM - 22 April, 2008
I grew up right there out a little past Cason Lane.
