LOL. just kidding NOT ME - I saw that the other day too when i was cruising craiglist.

Seriously, since the bar doesn't know what it wants to do (remodeling) I was seriously thinking about doing a craigslist ad to see if I could snag a gig or two to get some extra money for the holidays. I avoided mobiles in the past due to the amount of CD's and Vinyl I had to carry along with the other equipment.

Detroit/Michigan's economy is in the shitter right now and about 2 or 3 of the Mobile gigs that I had booked since summer fell apart because the rental halls here charge too much ($1000 -1500) and people are scared to do the private thing and lose money.

Hell, if I can do a craigslist ad "done right" and pick up some bucks at my price, what the hell.

What do you guys think - good idea or prostituting?

The least power I've ever used at a gig is 2,500W; the most I've ever seen in a domestic amp is a couple of hundred watts and more usually 30 or so per channel.

Surely when he does his first gig he'll either be completely inaudible or blow the lot up?
