The Beringer mixer 4000ddm does have a pitch effect that is really cool that I would like to see in Scratch live. It allows you to change the pitch but the tempo of the tunes stays the same. So what it really does is just changes the key of the song so you can use it as a tool to mix songs wher key clashes and its a cool effect at the same time.
