Hi,
If I search on the forum, thread that contains "consécutifs" , the search feature gives me the list of threads where "consécutifs" is written, but if I click on the "x matches" button to the right , I get "undefined of undefined matches".
I note that in the serach line, it is written "consécutifs" instead of "consécutifs", so probably why the featuyre doesn't find.

Hi Couin,
Thanks for pointing that out, we'll take a look into it.
We've just done a major overhaul of the search functionality, we feel it's performing HEAPS better but there are a few things that still need some work. Appreciate the feedback!

Hi Couin,
I think I might have solved this one, seems to be working much better now. If you wouldn't mind trying it out when you have a second, see if you can find any other particular characters it might trip up on. Thanks again.

Hi Adrian,
It no longer write "consécutifs" instead "consécutif" , good point, but if I want to expand matching results, I still get "undefined of undefined matches" .
Cheers :)

Ah yes, I see now. The first one appears correct, but the rest are wrong. Will look a bit deeper into it :-)

Ok so this is pretty much working now!
Admittedly, the results don't quite display correctly, BUT the results display none-the-less. Getting them to display in their full form 100% correct form looks like it might be a tad more difficult than we have time for right now, but I'll leave it on the To Do list. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.

Something related: If I search for an accent word (Iván) it won't find it unless I write it with the accent, but Serato won't recognize my keyboard layout so I can write it correctly. It would be much better if it just looked for the word with or without the accents: Type "Ivan" and get all results : ivan or iván…. Saludos!

That would be much better. How do you mean we don't recognize your keyboard layout?
I'm not sure how that complicates things in a search if we start looking for substitute accents also (obviously we don't really want to be searching for "á" every time we search for an "a" - but it's obviously something that can be allowed for somehow.

I second this suggestion.

What I mean by "Itch won't recognize my keyboard layout" is that I cannot write accents, I have tried all English and Spanish input language options (MacBook Pro), but still no accents trying different keyboard combinations…

Oh are you referring to the search in the ITCH software? If that's the case you should make sure it's logged in the ITCH discussion area, that's a good suggestion. I totally understand what you mean now :-) This area is only for the Website stuff, the Devs and Product Owners don't tend to read this area.

Hi Adrian,
Sorry for long delay but yes, now results are visible, even if the character with accent appears s blank instead.
Thanks :)
