I can't get the program to open or validate. The license is on my ilok, but it could be the older version. When I tried to in tall the ilok drivers that came with the program, it said I had a more recent version already installed.

Hi dcsiegal,
This is a known issue when using Pitch 'n Time with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.0 and above.
There is further detail here: serato.com
You should be able to eventually validate Pitch 'n Time in your Audio Units Manager, despite receiving the validation crash error messages.
Do you mean that it told you there are newer iLok drivers already installed?
Thanks :)

Yes it keeps crashing the validation and when Logic opens gives me the message that there is an incompatible program (Pitch N Time) running. It also says it's version 1.0

Perhaps try removing Pitch 'n Time from your applications completely and putting it in the trash, re-downloading 1.2 serato.com and ensure you have the latest iLok drivers installed also. www.ilok.com
You will still have the validation crash message, but Pitch 'n Time should still appear as an algorithm in Logics Time and Pitch machine.
Let me know how you go.

It's a minor inconvenience that every time Logic opens you are required to dismiss the message that there is an incompatible plug-in being used. When looking at the Pitch N Time audio component, it says it is opened with Pro Tools. I tried to with it to Logic but it didn't work. Perhaps the full version would be worth getting?

It is a bit inconvenient I do agree.
I am a little bit confused by what you mean exactly, are you trying to open Pitch 'n Time LE in Pro Tools?
What do you mean by "when looking at the Pitch 'n Time audio component.."? Do you mean when looking at information on our website?
Pitch 'n time LE works for Logic, Pitch 'n Time Pro works in Pro Tools.
Pitch 'n Time Pro has an visual interface when in Pro Tools, but when LE is used in logic it is a selectable algorithim in the Time and Pitch machine, but the functionality is basically the same in both versions.
The validation crash issue still exists with full version, because it basically a Pitch 'n Time with Lion issue more than anything else.
