The story behind rick astley is that he used to be the studio tea boy & was messing around when he thought no one could hear him!
The engineer ran and got pete waterman who offered him a contract then and there! He did an album but could not deal with the fame and adulation of groupies and went off to do some non descript job! ( I did my work experiance at pwl studio's when I was in College
Ha ha ha!

It's awesome how they've used specific camera angles and got the dancers to stand that far behind him to make him look normal height.
