I have a friend that uses aliases all the time, just for the comedic effect.

I want to hear your funniest ideas for DJ names.

Here's a few:

I always wear red, somebody actually told me that I should be called DJ Redd Hottpants! They meant it too which cracked me up, I'd have to play that James Brown songe eveery set!

Hah, on other forums ppl have usernames with like DJ ______. i just get irritated cause they aren't even DJs, nor know anything about it. Yea I am anal about stuff like that

There was one black guy in my high school.. One.

Being the sterotypical bastard i was back then, i aquired him to come up with a DJ name for me that was better than DJ BriGuy.

He came up with DJ Cutsup. Instead of Catsup... as you can see, i didnt make the switch

I've been thinking about using silly DJ names every week just for the hell of it. I've been DJ'ing a long time and being cool and trying to get my name out there has come and gone. Now it's more of a "slam" on guys trying to be cool. Me, I think it's funny that someone puts so much thought into their name. You're a DJ, not the president. Relax, it's just a hobby.

a buddy of mine and i rename each other based on catching each other doing stupid things in real life. for example:

he'll constantly mis-spell stuff on messenger...
my response "ok dj 'shoulda used spell check'"

or if he loses his beat while mixing...
"way to go dj 'learn how to use your headphones'"

the names usually continue to somthing totally unrelated.

Dj Clutz, Dj No Mix, Dj No Name, Dj Relax, Dj MP3, Dj U, Dj Hollywood Tone (dude lived in the boomdux out in Jersey, in the middle of no where), Dj Rapalot (dude was a skinny ass white boy who stuttered every other word), Dj Hardcore (once again a skinny white boy from Florida who who was like 5'3"
