MacBook Pro + 1.7.4 + TTM57SL = FLAWLESS

First and foremost, THANK YOU Rane for finally releasing the public 1.7.4. I just picked up a brand new TTM57SL from Guitar Center on 10/3/07 as a result of that.

Used it at a gig Wednesday night 10/3/07 and it worked flawlessly. Used it at Sutra Thursday 10/4/07 with DJ Fashen on the 1's & 2's and it worked flawlessly.

Hopefully all the clubs & bars around here catch on and get one installed. (***Most of the DJ's use the Intel Duo Core Macs with updated OS software & around here, now they have no excuse NOT to get one)

I run a MacBook Pro 1.83 GHz Intel Duo Core with MAC OSX Tiger 10.4.10. I definately wanted to hold off on buying one because of the multiple crashes I experienced with my current OS + the 1.7 Beta Versions and the TTM57SL.

With that setup, I don't think anybody can expect it to perform less than perfect

Just started running 1.7.4 on 12" PowerBook G4 1.5GHz with OSX 10.4.10 that I bought off e-bay last week. Currently 756mb RAM (1.25gb by the weekend). Knocked out a 2 hour mix on my TTM57SL last monday and it was rock solid, even with the hi-fi audio thing on. I'm playing out this Friday and Saturday with the SL1 in the clubs, so we'll see how it goes.

After so many years on a PC...this Apple is just delightful. Plug it in...

...and it works.

I have a 2.4g MBP and SSL works just as good as with my old Toshiba Laptops(no better no worse).

SSL is flawless on Mac or PC.
