I've got a Rane TTM57 SL.

I baught it off eatmybeats in the states about 3 months ago and I live in Australia...

The other day I took it to a band rehearsal, got it out of my backpack and my face dropped to see that on Channel one the Mid Knob got loose.

I took the mixer apart and I can see that the screw of the knob is actually disconnected... (it doesn't respond when turned)

I called up the one place that services Rane's in Melbourne and they mentioned I'll need to send it to them and wait at least 2 weeks to hear back from them! (I can't live 2 weeks without it..)

1. Will my warranty cover me here in Oz, if purchased in the states?

2. Is it worth just taking it to a non authorized Rane electrician who can fix it on the spot?
