Hi..
I have now been playing 5 jobs of 8-9 hours with my new ITCH setup.
No problems at all.
But this weekend I got a strange error.
The PLAY button on the left side stopped starting the track..
It shiftet between flashing and just being light on as it shout, but the track did not start.
Everything else worked perfect.. The right track played fine, the search/scratch wheel worked perfect (also on the left side).. only thing that did not work was the left PLAY button..
After a restart of the software it worked again..
Strange.. Any idear why?

Hey DJ Tupsy,
Have you reproduced this issue since? Can you also let me know if you have analyzed your whole library and removed any corrupt tracks? Do you have any other USB devices connected or installed at all?
Can you also let me know your computer specs?
Sam.

Hi Samuel.
No, I have not seen this again yet.
I analysed the library when I was running ITCH 1.7, but not after upgrading to 2.0. Do I need that?
I have never seen any corrupt tracks. Don't think/hope I have any.
I use this computer to ITCH and Itunes only. So nothing ales is installed.
No other USB devices was/is connected.
My computer specs is:
Acer Aspire 15,6", 5750G-2414G
Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
4GB RAM, 500GB Hard Disk
Hope this is what you need.

This seems strange. I'll take a shot at reproducing this here. In the meantime can you please try and re-install the drivers?
To do this:
- Quit ITCH and any other programs
- Connect the HC5000 and open up device manager from within the control panel.
- Under "Universal serial bus devices" can you please right click on the HC5000 which should show up, select uninstall and make sure to check the box that says to uninstall driver software.
- Now disconnect and re-connect the unit
- Now run the ITCH 2.0.1 installer with your hardware connected. This should install the drivers again.
Try this and let me know if you still get the problem happening?

Great to hear. It sounds like you have everything up and running. I'll close this one off now but please feel free to re-open it at any time if you run into anything else.
Cheers,
Sam.

Hi Samuel..
Played a 2 hours job last night..
The problem is stille there.
After setting the gear up I was waiting for about 20 min.
When I came back to the PC the RIGHT side was acting the same way.. :-(
So there is stille a problem... :-(
And I think this guy has the same issue:

Can you please let me know if the unit is still sending MIDI when the button stops reacting? You can use an application called MIDI OX to check this. There is more information and an article explaining how to use it here:

Let me know how you go.

Hi.. Sorry, I did not have the time to test it yet.
But I have been out playing a couple of gigs since.
No problems there.
I'm thinking.
I have only seen this error when the PC has been standing and waiting for a while without thouching the controller.
Can it be the USB ports that is going in "sleep" mode?
I have offcause turned off the power saving and sleep mode on the PC, but it's also possible to turn off sleep mode on the USB ports itselfe.
Have you evet heard about this causing problems?

Maybe there is something that needs to be looked at.
