Hi DJJOHNNYM_vSL3,

We've recently made the decision to remove the option of turning off Avatars as we only had an extremely small number of people without them enabled.

In making updates and changes to the forum we were having to create two different versions of everything to accommodate with & without, and it simply wasn't an efficient use of our time for such a small population of our total users.

We'd rather put the time into bigger and better features! :-)

Without going into specific numbers, I can assure you the number was minute. Not to mention, most of the Serato forum are pretty good looking cats... :-)

If you guys are worried about seeing the avatars on this forum - reason being... offensive / eating your bandwidth / at work and wannabe stealth, there's always the ol' browser setting to disable images. And as Adrian said:

On most mobile phones this setting is a global setting.

We need a mobile, reduced version of this website.

Yes, definitely. That's one of the things to spend our time on.
